Been quite a long time since somebody posted writing here. So here i am instead of Matthea to do some writeup. Not really a writeup i would say. Just wondering how are the rest of you guys doing? It's been almost 2 weeks since we came back from our trip. How time flies... I have not completed half of what i wanted to do for this summer break. Oh well i guessed that's me... setting goals and not completing them is one of my characters. Haha. Getting lame again. Here i go again. I do hope to see us updating each other often on ourselves using the Yahoo groups or this blog. Just one of my wishes that i hope to see. I felt it will be a pity to just break away from the bonds we had made during our time on this trip. Suddenly now i am in a writer mood. I should stop here to reorganise my thoughts again. God bless us all.

Roti Prata Day

That's right! And oh, how I enjoyed those roti pratas. Yum yum! Couldn't resist having some more. Well, I was quite hungry. And I ate up around 2 1/2 pieces and felt rather full after that. Ha ha...

Now to reporting the news.

This is BBC World Service. Ti ti ti... the time now is ... tomyammers time..... Ha ha... applause applause. Thank you. Thank you. (Bows and shows a wai.)

Good morning. On today's news- Tomyammers learn about Thailand.

The Thailand mission trippers learnt about the Thai culture, language and religious worldview last Saturday. Appropriate behaviour and useful phrases were taught by Professor I-don't-know-his-name, from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in the National University of Singapore. Organized in the Great Commissioning and Training Centre, this meeting is their first after the exams.

"It was an enriching experience. I had absolutely no idea of what Thailand was like before this," said Charis Cheong, a Tomyammer on her first mission trip to Thailand.

The Tomyammers will meet again tommorrow.

From Charis

1) What do you think Jesus would want to see happen in Mahasarakam? (WWJD?)

Wow! What a long name! But I'll sure it's special to Jesus all the same.
I think Jesus would want to see the sick healed, the lame walk, the blind see and the captives freed. Haha... yah. But I don't think He expects us to do all that. We are just a part of it.

2) How do you think we can play our part to achieve what He wants even as we go there?

By going there to sow or to reap. And to love one another and be in unity.

1) What do you think Jesus would want to see happen in Mahasarakam? (WWJD?)
Jesus want to see disciples and sow seeds of gospel in the hearts of the thai people in Mahasarakam and we love thy neighbour... "How can they believe if they never hears ?" To see that the love of GOD can touch the hardened heart of the people and to soften and accept Jesus as a saviour where they will see light and not dwell in idolism and see the truth
2) How do you think we can play our part to achieve what He wants even as we go there?
we must love them and bless them the way GOD had done for us... Though we may be there just for 3 weeks and may not do much for them but whatever we do will serve as seeds where grow had to be harvested and we are there to share what we have
