Roti Prata Day

That's right! And oh, how I enjoyed those roti pratas. Yum yum! Couldn't resist having some more. Well, I was quite hungry. And I ate up around 2 1/2 pieces and felt rather full after that. Ha ha...

Now to reporting the news.

This is BBC World Service. Ti ti ti... the time now is ... tomyammers time..... Ha ha... applause applause. Thank you. Thank you. (Bows and shows a wai.)

Good morning. On today's news- Tomyammers learn about Thailand.

The Thailand mission trippers learnt about the Thai culture, language and religious worldview last Saturday. Appropriate behaviour and useful phrases were taught by Professor I-don't-know-his-name, from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in the National University of Singapore. Organized in the Great Commissioning and Training Centre, this meeting is their first after the exams.

"It was an enriching experience. I had absolutely no idea of what Thailand was like before this," said Charis Cheong, a Tomyammer on her first mission trip to Thailand.

The Tomyammers will meet again tommorrow.

Charis Cheong. BBC World Service, Singapore.
